Little Deer
The Little Deer complex is located ~40km south of the Ming Mine and is a high-grade copper-rich VMS deposit. Two historical operations, the Little Deer and Whalesback mines, were in operation between 1960 and 1972.
The current resource of 9.1Mt at 1.9% for 172,000t copper4 remains open in all directions. Limited historical exploration has been conducted in recent years. The Mineral Resource Estimate at Little Deer is reported under Canadian National Instrument 43-101.
A competent person has not done sufficient work to classify the foreign estimate as a mineral resource in accordance with the JORC Code 2012, and it is uncertain whether further evaluation and exploration will result in an estimate reportable under the JORC Code 2012.
